Rabbit Hole – Carrot Cake Amber

We also created a carrot cake inspired beer called “Rabbit Hole,” and it is officially on tap, just in time for Spring!
Background
The second in our culinary series of beers and the first of the “Cake Eater” series (Edina residents are sometimes referred to as “Cake Eaters” by surrounding cities).
While Rabbit Hole does not contain any actual carrots, it’s brewed to taste like a fresh slice of carrot cake with vanilla icing. Let’s be honest, you’re not eating carrot cake for the carrots.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Sweet vanilla balanced by spice
Flavor: Starts with a mix of light malt presence and the cinnamon/clove blend. Transitions to vanilla with milk sweetness. Similar to a pumpkin beer but with less emphasis on the spice.
Mouthfeel: Medium to full in body.
Aftertaste: Lingering bitterness from the spices.
