WOODEN HILL NAMED BUSINESS OF THE YEAR BY EDINA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

On November 12, 2024, Wooden Hill Brewing was honored as Business of the Year by the Edina Chamber of Commerce. We were nominated by a committee member for our significant positive impacts on the community through job creation, philanthropic efforts, and support for local causes and organizations. We’re overjoyed that after six and a half years in business, the community around us is just as excited for us and as committed to our success as they were that first week we opened our doors!

Our Co-Founder and Director of Brewing Operations, James Ewen, had this to say about Wooden Hill’s recognition as Business of the Year:

“We’re both humbled and deeply grateful to the Edina Chamber of Commerce for naming Wooden Hill Brewing Company Business of the Year. This recognition means so much to us, and it’s a reflection of the collective effort of everyone who’s been a part of our journey.

At Wooden Hill, we’ve always believed that a business is about more than just the products and experiences we offer — it’s about building a community. We are proud to have created a space where people come together not just to enjoy a great beer or meal, but to share in the responsibility of making the world around us better. This award is a testament to our fantastic team and you; the community that supports us.

Since opening in 2018, we’ve been continually amazed by the response from our community. The generosity, kindness, and genuine care of the people of Edina and beyond have been a constant source of inspiration. Your support has given us the opportunity to give back to our community through “Give-Back” events at the taproom, collaboration brews with local charitable organizations, and contributions to numerous silent auctions and charity drives throughout the years.

Whether you’ve attended one of our charity giveback events, brought a friend to the taproom, or offered a kind word of encouragement along the way, you’ve helped us make a positive impact in ways big and small. Together, we’ve built something special here — a place where we can come together, make a difference, and, of course, enjoy great food and beer.
