Lease Signed

We’re excited to announce the official home of Wooden Hill Brewing Company! After over a year of searching, we finally found a great location for the brewery in the industrial area of Edina, MN. It’s a great start to the year with the lease commencing on January 1, 2017.

The Space

The space is a 4,755 square foot unit in a 55,000 square foot building known as “Edina Court” at 7421 Bush Lake Road, Edina, MN 5539. As with most new breweries, we will conduct an extensive renovation to ready the space for installing all the brewing equipment and the taproom. Keep checking back to our blog for construction updates.

Why Edina?

When we first started looking for space back in 2015, Edina did not yet allow breweries, tap rooms, or any bar that sold more alcohol than food. After a year of struggling to find the right location, we happened to meet a property owner that had a vacant unit in Edina he thought would be a good fit for a brewery. We did some research to find that Edina had just passed new alcohol ordinances allowing breweries and taprooms to operate in their city (within planned industrial zones) after residents made their dissatisfaction with the brewery ban publicly known.

So we toured the unit and discovered it has sufficient power, water, sprinkler system, and loading dock for a brewery as well as plenty of parking for a taproom. It all worked out as perfect timing to find the right space and a receptive community.

We’re excited to serve the people of Edina and the surrounding communities. It’s because of your voice that we are able to bring Wooden Hill Brewing Company to life in Edina!
